Accenture has appointed two highly experienced executives to strengthen its Western Australia team, based in Perth.
With local resources companies increasingly investing in a range of innovative digital technologies to improve productivity, optimise safety and deliver cost savings, both in the office and on-site, these latest appointments reflect Accenture’s current business priorities and commitment to the WA market, the company said.
Dean Felton joins Accenture to lead the firm’s work with one of its major mining clients. Prior to this, Dean held a senior role in the global mining and metals team for a professional services firm in Perth, and brings over 20 years’ experience in the industry.
His focus will be helping Accenture’s clients harness the best digital and technology offerings, solving key business and operational challenges.
Also joining the company’s Perth office is Dan Baker as Accenture Interactive’s Experience Design Lead. Dan’s expertise in human-centred design and digital strategy extends across a range of sectors and strengthens Accenture’s position as a digital leader in the resources professional services industry.
Baker is a key figure in Perth’s digital community, where he co-hosts the Perth Experience Design Meet Up and has degrees in Architecture and Design as well as Virtual Reality.
“Our resources clients understand the power of digital and its potential to bring about transformation and accelerate growth,” said Ann Burns, Accenture’s Australia and New Zealand Resources Lead.
“We are excited to have Dean and Dan join the ranks of our Perth team to bolster our digital capabilities and we are confident they will contribute valuable insight and maximum value for our clients.”
